JUDY GLICKMAN

Judy Glickman, involved in photography her entire life, has been photographing and exhibiting extensively since the late 70's and over 100 exhibitions of her work have been shown nationally and internationally since 1992.

In 1993, Glickman received the Fellowship distinction of the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain, the highest honor this prestigious organization bestows.

Glickman is affiliated with Howard Greenberg Gallery, New York, New York, and currently resides in Cape Elizabeth, Maine.

MAJOR TRAVELING EXHIBITIONS

Two solo exhibitions, consisting of approximately fifty images each, are currently being shown nationally and internationally:

Resistance & Rescue: Denmark's Response to the Holocaust The commemoration of Denmark's extraordinary rescue of its Jewish citizens during the Holocaust period of history. Images of rescuers, survivors, and the actual sites where these events took place. Sponsored by Humanity In Action, New York, NY.

Holocaust, The Presence of the Past A depiction of the Holocaust through present imagery of the camps, ghettos, trains and cemeteries of Poland, Czechoslovakia and Germany. Curated by Bowdoin College Museum of Art and the Holocaust Human Rights Center of Maine.
