In January 2001, the June Fitzpatrick Gallery at MECA opened
at Maine College of Art (MECA), greatly expanding exhibition
space. The Congress Street Gallery is located within walking
distance of The High Street Gallery in Portland's Downtown
Arts District.Critics and arts commentators have described June Fitzpatrick
Gallery as "A principal force for Maine connected Art" (Maine
Sunday Telegram) and "One of the best galleries for
contemporary art north of Boston" (Maine Times).Gallery hours: noon-5pm, Tuesday-Saturday and by appointment.
Exhibits change monthly, year-round.
